Syed Shamael Haider is an early career scientist and an ambitious biotech entrepreneur eager to tackle pressing global challenges. Shamael brings an invaluable skill set to meet the goals of healthy longevity and easy access modern rejuvenation biotechnology at Inovium Labs. He received extensive training on key molecular biology, biochemistry, and microbiology based laboratory techniques as part of his bachelor’s education in Biotechnology at the University of South Asia, Lahore, Pakistan.
Moreover, he carried out serology and molecular diagnostic tests during his professional internship at University Diagnostic lab of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Lahore and gained hands-on experience of bacterial and fungal cell culture at Government College University (GCU), Lahore.
In addition, Shamael volunteered his expertise to Major Mouse Testing Program in the UK to assist the group for testing six senolytic compounds in a mouse model and served on the social media team of Life Extension Advocacy Foundation. Moreover, he was shortlisted among 11 early career scientists as Health Security Futures Fellow 2017 and received intensive training on biosafety, biosecurity along with science diplomacy by a DC-based organization, Health Security Partners.
